CINCINNATI – June is here and it’s not too early to start thinking about dad! Make this Father’s Day one to remember with a little help from Cincinnati Museum Center. We've got a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and unique programs that will blow the socks of your traditional gifts.

Start celebrating dad a week early with tickets to see Egypt’s world-renowned archaeologist, Dr. Zahi Hawass. He’ll be live at the Aronoff Center Sunday, June 12 at 7 p.m. giving a lecture, “Egypt: Yesterday and Today”. Dr. Hawass, minister of state for antiquities, is searching for the tomb of Cleopatra and Mark Antony and is featured in our current exhibition, Cleopatra: The Search for the Last Queen of Egypt. While you’re here on Father’s Day, your kids ages 9-15 will love taking part in our Explorers University class on Forensics with you. This hands-on activity from 2 – 3 p.m. in the Museum of Natural History & Science teaches the techniques used by detectives and anthropologists to identify bodies and solve mysteries. How cool is that?
